Over 15,000 area residents help Milan enjoy its annual fireworks gala displayed above Milan's Ford Lake, which coincides with the annual Milan Fair. Moving Milan Forward helps with support of this event by collecting funds before and after the show as well as throughout the annual Spirit of Milan campaign.
The City of Milan presents a series of family oriented concert and big screen movie events in Milan's downtown Wilson Park during the summer months. Moving Milan Forward's Spirit of Milan campaign helps to offest these costs.
Milan's annual Christmas Parade is sponsored and organized by the Milan Area Chamber of Commerce. Moving Milan Forward collects funds throughout the year to support this event as part of our Spirit of Milan campaign.
The Milan Veterans Wall of Honor is a permanent and fitting tribute to all of citizens in the Milan community that have served, or are serving, our country; both living and deceased. The project will expand the current Milan World War II, and Blue Star memorials at the entrance of Wilson Park on Wabash Street. Veterans’ names will be engraved on the granite wall that is the centerpiece of this commemorative park.
